This department renders service to the society by treating almost all type of patients. It extends support to other departments for treating the patients through Panchakarma for mainly Musculo-skeletal, neurological, skin, gynaecological, metabolic, life style, Allergic, Respiratory and Psychiatric diseases etc.
During the academic year, theoretical as well as practical teaching and training of classical treatment therapies in the department of Panchakarma are provided to BAMS students. Besides theoretical as well as practical teaching, training and guidance, the Department also engages students in bed-side clinical classes in
Panchakarma includes five major treatment modalities named as Vamana (Therapeutic emesis), Virechana (Therapeutic purgation), Niruha Basti (Therapeutic Cleansing Enema), Anuvasana Basti (Therapeutic Oil Enema), Nasya(Therapeutic Nasal instillation of Medicine). Apart from these five main therapies, there are
several other internal and external treatment modalities in the department of Panchakarma for the treatment of vast variety of disease conditions

We conduct bed side clinical classes, panchakarma theatre practical and
